The valkyrie dispatched from camp 88 glided over the canopy of the Jungle. They had got an SOS evac message from a stormtrooper unit stuck behind enemy lines. They had been flying towards the distress call location for sometime now. Corporal Foehammer, the pilot, wondered what they had been doing.

"Hey, Hiwoski, what do you think the glory boys were doing this time?" Enquired Foehammer.

"I don't know. Hell, I don't want to know. Just make sure you don't touch '€˜em, they might be tainted. You heard the colonel's orders." Replied the co-pilot over the com.

The valkyrie flew ever onwards towards 21-Alphas last known position.

It took a little over an hour from that point to get to the units position. Foehammer signalling to the sergeant, Hoffman, to get his squad onboard the aircraft ASAP.

"I don't like it," said Bisenti as he climbed aboard the aircraft, sitting himself in between Hoffman and Jenkins he added, "they seem a little, twitchy, you don't think they think we're. You know."

"I don't know corporal," replied Hoffman gruffly, "but whatever happens, I don't think we'll get tea and medals when we get to camp 88 and find out what the hell happened to camp 89."

Bisenti fell silent. The whole squad fell silent. Thinking what was going to happen to them. Nobody knew what had happened, how the valkyrie had been hit or how Schultz had so quickly turned to the ruinous powers. The squad continued to brood, continuously telling themselves in their minds that they were not on the road to Chaos...

The journey back took just over 2 hours. The pilot and co-pilot continued to not talk to the squad in the back, and visa versa. When they landed, the two airmen left the plane and walked off. Hoffman's squad followed, leaving the body bags onboard, only to be stopped by two guardsmen and an officer bearing the ][, the mark of the Inquisition, on their forehead. 30 Inquisitorial guardsmen marched past Hoffman and surrounded his squad.

"Sergeant Hoffman, drop your weapons, leave your squad and follow me." Ordered the officer. Hoffman dropped his hellgun, his hell pistol, all his grenades and his knife. He nodded to the officer and he set off set. He followed the two guardsmen on either side of Hoffman, "Why are they guarding me?" Hoffman thought. He left the landing pad, walking down some stairs, leaving his squad waiting on the landing pad. His squad appeared to have also been shed of their weapons.

The rest of Hoffman's squad was taken by the 30 other Inquisitorial guardsmen. They were taken to a holding cell. Guarded by those 30 men while Hoffman was taken to an Interrogation room on the other side of the camp, room 009.

One of the guardsmen escorting Hoffman opened the heavy steel door and beckoned Hoffman to enter. Hoffman did so and both the guardsmen and the officer closed the door, bolted it and stood guard outside.

Inside the 5X5 metre room was an oak desk and two chairs, one on either side of the desk. Sitting on the chair furthest from the sergeant sat a man wearing a long trench coat and a cow-boy hat, upon which was the ][. "Sit down," ordered the man, he then stood, declaring, "by the powers vested in me by the Imperium and the God Emperor of Mankind, I order you to answer all my questions truthfully and without hesitation, is that clear?"
